The Ronin 4D 8K is a unique camera in a 3 axis gimbal on a built-in Z-axis arm.

The newly developed Full Frame X9 sensor has Dual ISO (800/4000) with 14.7 stops of dynamic range. There are 9 built-in NDs filter in it in increments of 0.3 to 2.7.

Also special is the included Lidar Range Finder with which you can automatically focus even on non-autofocus lenses. This depth finder can be mounted on the Ronin 4D and automatically control the optional external focus motor.

On the camera fits a DL, E, M or PL mount. See here which lenses are compatible with the Ronin 4D. The accessories section also lists a selection of lenses that fit this. Most lightweight lenses with built-in motors support iris and autofocus.

The camera comes with a 5.5" touchscreen monitor of 1000 NIT.

With the optional High Bright Remote monitor, you can wirelessly view the camera up to a whopping 6km in 1080p60. The system uses the same DJI 03 Pro Video Transmission system found in high end drones.

The Remote monitor is a 7" monitor with 1500 NIT brightness and includes an SDI and HDMI output port to further transmit the signal if necessary. Furthermore, there are 2 extra handgrips with which you can remotely control the camera and gimbal.

Because this camera and gimbal combination is quite advanced, we always recommend that you test it thoroughly, we do not give a complete explanation of the operation so read well in advance. The manual can be found here and other documentation here.

We supply the Ronin 4D including the Expansion plate that provides the camera with Timecode SDI and XLR, and we also supply the Video transmitter as standard.
