The FS7 MK II is the successor to the FS7, the industry standard in the middle segment of cameras. The perfect balance between price and performance makes it ideal for many productions.
The difference between the MK I and the MK II is mostly the inclusion of the Vari ND and the locking E-mount mechanism, the sensor is the same. The MK II has the same ND system as the FS5, this ND system is completely electronic. Another advantage of the MK II is that the E-mount has been strengthened and has a locking system.
The camera is energy efficient, can run on small batteries, can be used with almost any lens with various mounts, shoots at high framerates, is lightweight and is able to shoot 4K. The short flange distance of the E-mount allows you to use Sony lenses as well as PL or EF mounts. Both have the option to use speedboosters to shoot in low light situations.
Our FS7 cameras come with a V-lock mount and a Vocas baseplate. The V-lock option provides you with better balance when shooting handheld. Of course, you can also choose for smaller BPU batteries if you want a lighter setup.
