The Sony FS5 is the younger sibling of the FS7. It has the same sensor as the FS7 and the internal engineering is mostly the same, but the menus are more akin to the A7 series than the FS7.

A big advantage of the FS5 is the stepless electronic Vari ND, allowing you to fully configure your ND. Furthermore, the FS5 shoots at higher framerates than the FS7 in burst mode.
