The Canon C100 MK II is the entry model of the Canon Cinema camera range. It can shoot up to 50fps in HD, more than the original C300. The C100 MK II has the same sensor as the C300, so you can easily combine them.

The camera records in AVCHD (very economical codec) and has a small power draw. This lets you shoot on the camera for an entire day, without constantly being occupied about changing batteries.

The difference between the C100 MK I and MK II is mainly in the body design. The monitor on the back of the C100 MK II is improved, quite a bit sharper and the camera can shoot 50fps in HD. It also has an internal microphone.
